For holiday activities, in our spacious grounds and long-established gardens and Leisure club there are options both for energetic holidays or just relaxing and being pampered. The grounds include sun terraces, tennis courts and football pitch, outdoor children's play area, putting green and dog-friendly gardens.

Binoculars can be borrowed from Reception, and picnics can also be ordered. We offer a baby-listening service so parents can listen in to their rooms when they are having dinner.

For visits with a special purpose, we offer conference rooms at day-delegate or 24-hour rates, or private dining for celebrations or parties. Use our "Celebration Package" to ensure a special welcome on arrival.

We are licensed for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies, and our lovely setting features in the photo albums of many happy couples from far and wide.

For those who prefer self-catering, we offer various choices : an apartment within the hotel but with its own private entrance, a separate bungalow and a top-floor flat in the grounds, or a terrace of 6 chalets just outside the main gates. All self-catering guests are welcome to use the full range of hotel facilities if they wish.

The beach
The hotel's beautiful sandy beach is just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Our 'Beach Clean Team' works hard to maintain a high standard of cleanliness to ensure you enjoy your time at the beach whilst at the same time caring for the local wildlife, flora and fauna.

The Leisure Club
Open from 7am to 8pm (last swim starts at 7.15pm). Children under 16 years must always be accompanied by an adult and must not be left unsupervised.

The facilities include: gym, indoor swimming pool, two treatment rooms, games room, jacuzzi, heated outdoor pool, outdoor childrens' play area, football pitch, tennis court, mini golf and croquet. The games room includes a pool table, table tennis, Playstation and table football. There is also a snooker room in the hotel.

Golf
Available free of charge at Budock Vean (15 miles) at certain times of day, and at a substantially discounted green fee at Mullion Golf Club (2 miles). Golf at either course can be booked by prior arrangement through Reception.

Nearby
The polurrian has so much to offer in the nearby area including stunning coastal walks, horse riding, boating, fishing, surfing and scuba diving. Family attractions include the popular Flambards theme park, Trenance Chocolate factory and Goonhilly Earth Station, as well as many beautiful gardens, such as Trevarno, and beaches, including Kynance Cove.

For those interested in nature, the Lizard Peninsula has much to offer whether you are a bird watcher or a geologist and the hotel overlooks a historically significant geological site. Please ask at Reception for more details
